Lyon have made an £8m move for Arsenal misfit Jose Reyes according to the Daily Mirror.
Reyes' representatives have confirmed the former Sevilla star would consider a move to Lyon and Perrin is keen on his versatility.
Perrin is still in need of another attacker ahead of the new season and believes Reyes would be an ideal addition to his squad.
"I would sign Reyes of course," he told L'Equipe.
"Moreover, he can play in attack or as a midfielder on either flank.
"If I want to play 4-4-2, we miss an attacker.
"It would be interesting if a player of that level joins us."

With Babel, Simao, Malouda, Ribery all now signed wingers at the top end of the market are becoming an increasingly rare commodity.
What remains to be seen is whether Madrid will move on Lyons bid, to close out a deal for Reyes at the 10Million fee originally agreed with Arsenal prior to his loan spell. This will no doubt depend on Madrid's interest in other wingers such as Robben, who Mourinho remains keen to keep.
