Scoring in the Emirates Cup victory over PSG, then opening his account again in the Amsterdam tournament with an assured strike against Lazio, Nicklas Bendtner is starting to catch the eye.

With 2 goals in two preseason games, and some assured footwork, the young dane is making all the right noises. Some fans had claimed that as a forward he was lazy and lacked the right attitude, however his performances of late have suggested the contrary. Sure he lacks the pace and pure doggedness of Adebayor, but in his favour, it could be said he is a more natural finisher.
On the game the young dane said:
"The most important thing for me is that the team win."It is what you do on the pitch which matters, and we all work together really well."
A point also worthy of note is the natural striking partnership developing with the Equally impressive Eduardo who also opened his account in the game with Lazio. Slavan Billic said that Eduardo thrived of the partnership of a targetman...could we be seeing the embryonic partnership in development here?
