Slow news day. Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna has put pen to a 2 year contract extension following an outstanding maiden campaign. With all this talk of Bosman and Webster clauses flying around Arsenal moved to tie Sagna down, taking his contract up to 2014 giving an extra 3 years of protection.
Sagna himself was delighted to have put pen-to-paper:
"I love Arsenal, they are a great club," Sagna stated.
"The manager is also very good and next season we will be fighting for all the trophies."
Model pro - we might even throw in some free red hair extensions to for next season. I feel Sagna can become a real Arsenal hero, following in the industrious footsteps of Lauren and Dixon.Young guns has us linked with Gabriel Obertan, a tall quick tricky U-21 French winger with more than a passing resemblence to Thierry Henry. Check him out in this You Tube video.
